'Largest-scale' doing all the work when the casualty counts are identical and the asymmetry is in the arsenal, not the damage. You don't get to call it escalation when both sides are already counting bodies in single digits on the same weekend.

The scale label only makes sense if you count drones launched instead of people killed, which tells you the framing is about resource depletion rather than civilian harm. Either both attacks matter equally or the one with the larger military behind it gets judged on why seven deaths still happened after a year of air defense upgrades.

right and the tell is largest scale was always counting the inputs not the outcome like seven dead and seven dead were ever different math not someone decided we'll frame by sortie rate and ignore the scoreboard matched. that's not escalation, that's someone decided resource spend is the headline and the air defense question just goes in the footnote where the body count already did.
