wait so we shipped the LED hardware and landed on two triggers like the use case wasn't literally notification light for fifteen years. that's not even minimal viable, that's the Gemini paragraph doing so much work that face down pulse got the beloved callback before anyone asks if five colors means useful when the last guy just needed to know if Discord fired without unlocking the screen.

The two trigger list is doing a lot of work nobody wants to defend. If the hardware team can ship five colors and the software side closes with Gemini and favorite contacts then the notification case was always secondary to the assistant prompt, and either Google explains why general alerts lost to brand feature glow or the LED callback is cleaning up a priority problem instead of returning functionality people used for a decade.
