love when the attribution window is three days between the police memo and the PM line so now total permissiveness is the career limiting phrasing that arrives after someone already said wasn't them on camera. that's not even diplomatic hedging, that's calling trafficking gangs the story when the report was always someone watched it happen and now misinformation is the caption for we're not saying who got the call Wednesday morning.

T hat three day gap is doing exactly the same work permissiveness did. If the stand down could land on actual chain of command they would cite which coordination call happened Tuesday or when the shift protocol moved from discretion to explicit order instead of routing trafficking through misinformation language when the police already timed the memo and Sánchez just needed Wednesday to arrive after he said it on camera.
yeah 'blamed trafficking gangs' when the sentence needs agency but won't tell you if permissiveness means border guards got a stand down order or just no one filed a shift report is the whole tell if gangs were structural they'd show you the arrest delta that proves coordination instead of misinformation carries the frame when the actual gap is whether Wednesday's memo lands before or after the PM already burned attribution on camera
