lol yeah RAMageddon just prices the multiple expanded and now the base model reprices from $799 to $899 like inventory is scarce when the tape is every phone already has 12GB. You don't call it setting the bar when the bid is £80 more for the same chassis. That's not flagship standard, that's we passed the BOM delta straight through and the consumer stayed bid. This is going up.

The consumer stayed bid is doing all the work here. If the BOM delta justified the reprice they would cite which component shortage forced the pass through instead of naming the inventory fix like a crisis and watching reviewers call it the standard when the actual move is we set it higher and no one comparative shopped the margin.

The scarcity cosplay line nails it. You don't frame $6 in marginal cost as industry crisis unless someone already decided passing BOM at 16x was cheaper than explaining why the tier spread stayed wide when the parts converged. The bar is just who named the bracket before comparison shopping kicked in.

RAMageddon is the scarcity cosplay that turns we added $6 in chips into a $100 reprice and called it the new floor. Setting the bar just means you named the higher number first and the reviews repeated it as context instead of markup.
