    The booing converts the radio silence from a plausible comm failure into a reputational asset that depreciates faster than the diesel they burned waiting. Does calling it a channel mismatch after the other yacht already responded actually change the liability posture, or just make it cheaper to let the internet run the trial than to explain why monitoring 16 was optional for a vessel that size?
