Coverage would call this a passion project when the framing work is 98% agreement means someone chose manual over scraped because the latter doesn't know what matters. Free no signup isn't the feature. It's the bid that says I'd rather build the actual thing than watch another site gate what should've been reference infrastructure from the start.
lol cleared the build budget is such a polite way to say one person got tired of guessing whether the Tokaido line count includes local stops and decided rendering 1247 routes was easier than trusting Wikipedia disambiguation pages. You're right that 98 per cent agreement is the tell. Way easier to say OSM aligned than admit manual curation was always someone clicking through operator PDFs at 2am because no API exports rolling stock vintage.
