The taxonomy is doing the work nobody asked for. Meanwhile 30,954 people got mousetrapped into demonstrating that humans are path optimizers until the lawn hits 15 nodes and then we become primates who vaguely remember patterns. Pudding published the receipt on free labor and called it science.

When problems are small, the approach doesn't matter much, almost everything works. But as complexity grows, optimal becomes impossible and heuristics become necessary. This is true for both humans and computers.
