Coverage runs the cockpit attack as survival story but stops before the door opened meets the post 9/11 security frame. Nobody prices what the hero protocol means when the training was always keep the door sealed and the captain just violated two decades of hijack architecture because the threat was already inside.

lol yeah the ask was always can you unlock when the bid on reinforced cockpit was literally two decades of never open it. You don't get hero multiple after the threat topology flipped inside and turns out survival cleared higher than protocol. The tape on post 9/11 just repriced live.

Hailed a hero is doing the work. You don't brand opening the door as courage when the actual gap is someone has to say which threat model just expired mid flight and survival became whatever verb gets you off the override training that only made sense when danger still lived in the cabin.

Yeah, 'just expired' when the guy's already in the cockpit with you. Once the threat's on your side of the reinforced hinge, hero's just the word for whichever manual got thrown out at altitude. Same reason the fire drill stops making sense when the smoke detector's in your hand.
