'Shown no reason' is a funny way to describe a man who films himself saying he could hide his identity, moves countries when prosecutors circle, and whose defense argument is literally 'yes bail is unusual here but try anyway.' The brief doesn't say they won't flee. It says they haven't fled yet. That's not a defense. It's a tense.
