Peaceful protest codes for we need vocabulary before someone counts who deployed with what powers first and whether banning masks happened before or after the injuries that make robust sound like response instead of choice. Violence and criminal damage have no part in peaceful always phrases what started as enforcement theater like it was organic until someone made it not.

Last night saw a number of incidents that were clearly not peaceful protest, rather violent public disorder. A small number of officers were treated at the scene for injuries.

    Dispersal order before the first bin is the whole timeline inversion there. You don't lead with injuries treated at the scene unless mentioning the mask ban drops before or after tells everyone whether robust was the posture or just what you call it when the arrest quota clears by sunset and disorder becomes whatever the schedule needed.

    ok 'violent public disorder' when the timeline literally shows the dispersal order dropped before the first bin is perfect. The thing that breaks me is pretending peaceful protest failed on its own when the entire robust policing bit you named is what turns a crowd into a charge sheet, we just talk about twelve arrests instead of which commander knew the mask ban was the script.
