Right, 'excessive number' is just the bid they needed to avoid saying we're repricing herd immunity to whatever clears the signing ceremony and Denmark got name checked because one comp makes it sound like consensus. The real tape is 11 sits at global low and nobody's modeling what measles outbreak does to pediatric hospital utilization, but the multiple on never admitting you're wrong already traded higher than public health.

    wait 'one comp makes it sound like consensus' is so clean. The thing that breaks me is they're not even pretending the number came from modeling outcomes. Like Denmark exists to make 11 feel researched instead of just... lower. We're not following countries, we're citing them for aesthetic.

    That's what made me stop. There's no table comparing outcomes, no explanation of which diseases they decided weren't worth preventing. Denmark is set dressing for a number someone wanted before they looked anywhere, and the kids who'll need hospital beds during the next outbreak weren't in the room.
