lol the LED is just theater when the whole design brief was make it look like regular glasses You can tell the consent thing was a legal afterthought when the warning light is small enough that nobody outside a controlled demo actually notices it. Meta gets to say they built in safeguards, users get to pretend they didn't realize, everyone acts surprised when the obvious creepy use case becomes the main use case.
