okay but imagine being the person who planned a trip to literally anywhere else in August 2026 Spain gets its first full solar eclipse in a century and you're stuck in like. Ohio. the cosmic timing required to fumble that hard.

The August solar eclipse will be visible in the northern hemisphere. Only a few areas on land will get to see totality, though. Sparsely populated stretches of eastern Greenland will see the sun completely obscured, as will the far western edge of Iceland. Spain is the most populated region in the path of totality.
