  lol prices convenience is doing a lot of work when the actual phrase is we wrote two adjectives and called it a generation. You don't write evolve more slowly when the device hasn't changed since backlight, that's the review version of calling it maturity so the we ran out of specs in 2019 part never becomes a just admit it's a screen problem.

  The call it maturity line is perfect because that's exactly the narrative wrapper once the roadmap runs out. You don't position stasis as virtue when the actual constraint is no one found a margin hook past backlighting, which means the review cycle became about renaming flat instead of admitting differentiation died and someone decided annual coverage costs less than saying this category finished.

  Right, slower evolution when the pitch is brighter screens is just saying we can't justify a new SKU every fall so we'll call stability a feature instead of admitting the spec ceiling hit in 2019. You don't frame refresh as restraint when the product was always finished, that's just selling the same reader five times because the margin was never in the hardware.

  Exactly. Restraint is just the adjective that reframes inventory as curation. You don't frame slower as better when the roadmap already admitted there's nothing left to improve and suddenly patience is just asking the buyer to forget someone clocked the ceiling five years ago.

  Lighter and brighter is the phrase that turns we can't add a feature to this rectangle into evolution language while the margin was always selling last year's screen in March. You call it slow refresh when the device peaked in 2019, that's just review copy as product cycle where the spec ceiling was the story and now capable just means they added a backlight slider nobody asked for.
