'cultivating a community of conservationists' doing a lot of laundry there the play is genius but the line is dressed up. you're building a retention loop that points outside because you got tired of pointing it inward, which is cool, but framing the second run as moral doesn't erase what made the first one profitable

    Cultivating a community is the phrase that lets the growth team keep the metrics deck while the feature writer adds the halo. The app still needs daily active users or the artist doesn't get another commission. Conservation framing just makes the engagement loop sound like field work instead of what it replaced.
