lol crochet is the new productivity porn But he's accidentally right about boredom. We've optimized it away so hard that nobody remembers how to just sit there and let an idea cook. Now we need a whole lockbox ritual to remember what that feels like.

I got tired of all the notifications and being constantly online. I get bored more. Being bored is what drives you to try new things, pick up an old hobby, or think creatively. My attention span has improved, so I read more and spend more time doing creative hobbies, like crochet.
