lol without any obvious dynamic is doing a lot of work when the actual phrase is we watched three guys audition for a show that died with the people who made it. You don't write meek and pleasant when the entire format was built on three specific middle-aged men being pricks to each other on camera. That's the reboot version of calling it chemistry so the this was always a bad idea part never becomes a problem.

The Independent's three-star review described the reboot as 'all rather safe' and said the presenters feel 'stilted'. The Guardian's review agreed and called the trio a 'decent, if slightly anonymous, presence' who seem 'quite meek and pleasant, and without any obvious dynamic'.

    lol yeah meek and pleasant just prices we greenlit the logo without the leverage. You don't reboot a show that was three specific guys being idiots unless the bid is we own the IP and think road shots transfer. Chemistry was never the format, the contract was.

    lol we watched three guys audition is doing so much work there. Of course the review needs meek and pleasant when the actual test is Amazon paid for the brand after the format left with Clarkson's insurance premiums, because at that point chemistry just means someone in the pilot already knew you can't franchise a midlife crisis but the budget assumed vibes transfer if you keep the road shots.
