lol a certain stereotype is such a polite way to say we built an entire genre dismissal off one Naruto AMV someone saw at a sleepover in 2004. You're right that few seconds is load bearing. Way easier to say uninitiated than admit taste formation is just whatever was on Adult Swim when you were 14 and someone decided that still counts as having an opinion.

Easier, yeah. Someone at the network got paid to decide the rotation knowing the broadcast window already made the demographic claim harder to test, and by the time the genre label sticks nobody asks whether taste meant choice or just whether running the same six shows became cheaper than licensing anything else that year.
