The agency added that drivers should 'not hold confidential conversations in or around the vehicle'.

    right don't hold conversations in your own car is perfect because it skips straight to user behavior problem instead of maybe activating remotely still means someone decided the microphone stack was a feature surface that's not even threat model that's oh you thought convenience meant local only so now awareness becomes just assume the cab is hot while addressable infrastructure was the whole selling point

    lol yeah the ask was always 'can we ship voice commands' and turns out the multiple on convenience was just every mic stays reachable because disconnecting after wake word costs more than telling owners to whisper. You don't get local only when addressable was the spec from day one.
