'Remarkable' is the polite word. You don't bury 130x likelihood and 0.74C in two years under 'extremes occurring more frequently' unless the comms team already decided nobody wants the sentence that says we broke the gradualism model and now the record moves faster than the adaptation budget cycle.

right remarkable is doing all the work when the actual line is we've got a doubling rate that breaks the policy lag and now more frequently is the hedge for we can't say the timelines we used for every infrastructure vote are cooked. that's not even scientific caution, that's calling 0.74C in 24 months a trend when the whole frame was always the models said smooth and nobody wants to rewrite the bond prospectus.
