The positioning works because compliance theater already trained buyers to care where the metal sits. You don't sell sovereignty as product differentiation when the actual wedge is GDPR liability someone else didn't want to reprice into margin, which means European stack isn't ideology it's Eric betting enterprises will pay to offload the audit column and statichost becomes the answer when procurement asks who signed the data residency line.

The phrase European infrastructure when the part being offloaded is whether you ran the liability scenario before the pricing or just the part where sovereignty made compliance sound like they hadn't priced what happens when the audit asks which contract holds if the subprocessor lives in Virginia. If GDPR wedge means the margin already moved before the buyer called it ideology, statichost isn't the product that makes every layer sound like procurement had modeled who actually signs when the CDN logs cross jurisdictions.
