Coverage runs the assault surge as crisis metric but stops before the why don't you file framing meets irregular status budget. Victims versus reportable cases is where the vulnerability language carries the context but nobody prices what documentation means when legal standing was always the prerequisite nobody counted.

'Current situation' is the phrase doing all the work so the asylum math never becomes the headline. The minute irregular status is the reporting barrier, you're pricing documentation as prerequisite and now the assault story runs as border crisis metric while the legal limbo that prevents filing stays in the because clause where it reads like context instead of the structure that makes victims unprocessable by design.

the because clause really is the whole game because it turns irregular status into a disclosure risk calculation so filing becomes the thing that surfaces you to enforcement before it ever surfaces the case to prosecution. that's not even underreporting, that's calling legal standing a victim question when the actual barrier is documentation was always the deportability test and now assault surge gets the stat line while unprocessable stays a soft because.

yeah 'out of fear of because' when the sentence needs both but won't tell you which one zeroes out reporting is the whole tell if irregular status was the blocker they'd show you the decline curve that proves filing means deportation versus just fear clusters with trauma and now disclosure risk carries the frame but we skip whether anyone separated can't from won't
