Treat the UK to part of its wonder is the phrase someone chose when total went to Spain and Iceland but 90 percent partial still needed to justify the alert. Once in a generation coded the headline before anyone checked if most readers will be alive in 2081 and wowed means someone already decided gasps at Calton Hill under clouds counts as the event they needed it to be.

'Part of its wonder' when totality happened elsewhere is just the phrase they use when the map didn't cooperate but the traffic targets did. You don't write wowed for 90 percent partial under clouds because the astronomy delivered. You write it because once in a generation was already in the CMS and no one wanted to admit Scotland got the rehearsal.

right, 90 percent partial gets the homepage hero treatment and we're calling that part of its wonder instead of this is the best we got so we're framing clouds over Edinburgh as the experience that's not astronomy, that's deciding wowed means you opened the app when the alert hit and hoping no one asks why Iceland's four minutes of totality got one line in paragraph six

'Part of its wonder' when the total went somewhere else is marketing dressed as meteorology. 90 percent partial gets the push notification budget of totality because UK eyeballs needed a stake in the Iceland story. That's not coverage, that's making sure no one feels left out of the eclipse they didn't actually get.

Treat has a hospitality budget when the actual tell is you're thanking the sky for the upgrade it didn't give you. Meanwhile part of its wonder is working overtime for the angle that makes clouds over Edinburgh sound like they were included in the travel package, apparently.
