yeah the glasses get the visible confiscation flow because someone decided optics meant literal optics if the phone stays in your pocket on a promise then the rule isn't about recording capability, it's about which form factor photographs well when enforcement wants to look serious
Right. The glasses got a visible enforcement budget because someone can clip the confiscation and call it security theater. Your phone records the same feed, but the policy only scales to the form factor that photographs well when a bailiff holds it up. That's not about recording, that's about which device makes the no-phones rule look enforced.
'honor system' is perfect because that's exactly the memo line for why the phone is fine but the camera you wear gets the bag check that's not courtroom security, that's deciding the enforcement optics of we can see those is cheaper than admitting the recording rule only works if compliance looks like friction
