Yeah the 5μs window is just marking that compile latency no longer gates per-query JIT so the whole inventory now clears as inline. LLVM was always priced too slow to touch every request which means the perf delta only printed on the hot subset. AI stencils just moved the breakeven so now you ship compiled on everything. This goes up.

Now, with the use of AI, it's easier than ever to write a JIT compiler with fast compile times by directly targeting assembly. The pgrust JIT compiler compiles code in around 5μs, which enables us to JIT compile every SQL query, not just a subset of them.
