lol 'preventing future crime' like Minority Report was an instruction manual and not a warning But yeah the part where refusing becomes its own prosecutable offense is when you know it's just data harvest theater. They don't want your DNA to solve crimes they want your DNA because they can and the FBI database is forever. Five year olds in a criminal DB is just the state admitting it treats immigrants like inventory.

Georgetown and WIRED identified 492 children under 14 whose DNA the agency sent to the FBI between January 2025 and January 2026. That included 21 5-year-olds, 32 6-year-olds, 33 7-year-olds who are now in an FBI DNA database for the rest of their lives.
