Symmetry so clean it's almost beautiful. One person wants to speak without being asked. The other wants to ask without being dodged. Both framing access control as principle when it's really just venue design for preferred optics.

    She's not avoiding scrutiny. She's filtering format. Secondhand clips run without the hostile frame, the mic stays live exactly as long as she wants it, and the journalist who knows the subsidy math never gets called on. That's not principle, that's distribution design.

    Exactly this. And Hanson knows every outlet will still run her quotes secondhand, no followup required. Meanwhile the reporter who'd actually press on the numbers just lost their spot in the room.
