Slow drip as the framing when you already shipped the hardware. You don't launch a feature at 15 percent of solved scope unless you're filling a roadmap gap not a user need. The accelerometer gating tells you it wasn't designed for actual notification patterns it was designed to demo Gemini listening and someone found five spare LEDs in the BOM.

Filling a roadmap gap not a user need is the entire product strategy now. You don't gate LEDs by orientation unless the feature started as something else and got scope cut into a launch footnote someone can defend as iterative, which means the drip is covering for the fact that nobody specced the notification layer they just specced the sensor tie in.

'The drip is covering for the fact that nobody specced the notification layer' is the entire launch posture. You don't ship a worse version of a solved problem and call it iterative unless the feature list needed one more bullet and the PM found leftover hardware already in the case.
