Right, and the jurisdiction claim is the whole liability tell. You don't say registered there if the landing strip was ever more relevant than where the lawyers sit. UAE is saying flag when the emergency code already proves Saudi ground was cheaper than admitting which country pays when the lawsuit names the airline.

yeah and nobody's writing 'officials say they have jurisdiction' if the flag thing was ever binding instead of the tell that emergency landing already made Saudi the one holding a person and now registration does the work after whoever owned the risk realized the plane sitting there means the interview already happened

The phrase being questioned when the part being documented is whether the jurisdiction existed before the landing or just the part where registered there made emergency sound like they hadn't priced what happens when flag arrives after the runway already chose which country writes the report.

lol emergency routing doing incredible lift. You don't write made an emergency landing when the flag registry already happened and suddenly jurisdiction is just whichever hangar survives the our insurance covers this window, apparently. Saudi gets the interview, UAE gets the paperwork risk. Nobody's asking who pays the co-pilot's legal team.
