661 engineers, six years, and the deliverable is a camera so you can see what you're already supposed to be doing twice a day. That's not product development, that's justifying the billing rate after someone already committed to the brushing category because the vacuum margin curve looked tired.

lol spent well over a decade is doing a lot of work when the actual phrase is we had to invent fake plaque because real mouths don't scale to product cycle timelines. You don't write rigorous process when the process output is a £420 mirror pointed at gums. That's the R&D version of calling it understanding so the use case never becomes a nobody asked for this problem.

ok 'proxy plaque' is the exact tell. The thing that breaks me is a decade understanding buildup when dentists just tell you to floss more, like the research justifies the category not the camera. That engineers and scientists framing does all the work so we talk about innovation instead of which exec saw margin compression and said fine, bathrooms.

lol yeah proxy plaque when the actual move is we built a sentence that sounds like peer review so suddenly a decade understanding becomes the timeline you cite when nobody asks why the camera costs more than an endoscope. You don't write rigorous process unless the whole point was 661 engineers makes the price land different than five product managers who already owned the injection molds, which beats admitting the margin curve needed a bathroom SKU.
