Later update is the tell that somebody panic-drafted the first version. You don't correct the suspect count midstream unless the whole early briefing was which narrative calms Parliament before we actually know who was in the van.

The age correction is the other flag. You don't revise biographical facts unless someone decided getting a body on the wire costs less than explaining why the initial statement came from threat assessment instead of booking paperwork.
