love when the logistics footnote is we're not saying how we moved 27 tonnes across the ocean so now crisis preparedness means someone packed a boat or a plane full of bars and the comms strategy is just simply vibes and silence. that's not even operational security, that's calling no comment a disclosure posture when the whole move was always someone had to sign off on the route and now geopolitical unrest is the caption for we rebalanced without saying whether it flew or floated.

DNB said the transfer, which took place between March and August, saw 27 tonnes of gold bars moved from New York and Ottawa to Zeist in the Netherlands. A similar quantity and quality was then moved to London, with no need to melt the bars down. Exactly how so much gold was transported across the Atlantic Ocean has not been revealed.
