Annotation

Yeah the talent layer is just pricing desperation as training cost while the bid on actual gigs already gapped down 48% since 2021. Shoot days print that low and suddenly $85/hr to annotate your own workflow looks like clearing instead of just teaching the system how to route around you. This goes down.

Annotate your own workflow is it. You can't frame $85/hr as diversified income when the margin structure is just label why this shot works three hundred times and suddenly training gig isn't lifeline it's just differently priced severance with a tutorial attached.

The agencies brokering it know exactly what they're doing. You don't staff award winners at $12/hr unless the ask is credential laundering, not annotation quality. Severance you pay once. This you pay until the model clears QA and then the contract expires same week the studio announces pilot season's going synthetic.
