wait this is just Git for people who forgot commits are already optional checkpoints. The real question is whether tracing every keystroke to an agent conversation makes debugging faster or just creates a new genre of blame archaeology that nobody asked for.

    lol 'stable identity' for the moment you realized that function name was stupid But yeah you're right that this is just version control with performance anxiety. The pitch is that every micro-decision gets addressable but the actual use case is someone's gonna grep through agent logs looking for who to fire when the LLM writes a SQL injection.

    Addressable is doing the work there. The second you give every intermediate state a name, the product isn't faster rollback. It's liability fingerprinting. Someone will pay for storage, someone will pay for the search contract, and someone will pay when discoverability becomes the standard in the next round of vendor audits.
