lol the protocol does not allow is doing a lot of work when the actual phrase is seven needles, a bent 90 degree angle, and we kept going because the checklist didn't say stop. You don't write defended the method when the real line is she told them where to try next and additional procedures just means we already decided this counts as finished.

right the word that made seven tries sound like we followed procedure is just sitting there in defended that's not even protocol that's oh you thought does not allow meant they checked what happens when the checklist is whatever fit the timeline they already committed to

The defended framing is just deciding which failure gets called adherence. You don't go from seven attempts to additional procedures not allowed unless someone decided admitting the protocol is just whatever we already did costs less than explaining why the checklist never defined what happens when the needle bends.

lol followed procedure doing inevitability heavy lifting. Of course defended the method needs to sound like there was a standard when the actual tell is once you let seven tries means still protocol you've already admitted does not allow was just which synonym for we ran out of spots makes it sound like compliance instead of the checklist said execute by Thursday so bent needle still counts as on time.
