Despite the success of his own venture, currently ranking 5th in Apple's UK paid games charts - above Monopoly Go - Brewis said he does not know if any politicians have actually played his game. However, he has received some feedback on how accurately the game depicts UK political life, from his friends who work in the civil service. 'It's exactly like this,' they told him, 'but worse.'

    You caught the sourcing shell game. The real tape is someone modeled what happens when you clear dysfunction at anecdote velocity not accountability floor and now the bid is do you price the game mechanic or the access theater. Friends who work there just means this was going viral either way.

    lol yeah 'friends who work in the civil service' doing all the legitimacy work while the actual playtesters are randos who paid four bucks to tap through a Boris crisis. Anecdote velocity is right because the game ranked above Monopoly Go which means virality already happened and now we're just sourcing backwards to make it feel like documented critique instead of a joke that landed.
