lol passthrough disambiguation doing incredible lift. You don't write transparent when the camera already happened and suddenly AR is just whichever fake honesty survives the we still ship pixels window, apparently. They redefined glasses as not transparent, put a video feed where the world goes, and called it progress. The nomenclature held.

For years, the industry has suggested headsets will eventually make way for glasses. But typically when we talk about glasses, they're transparent. We're imagining indistinguishable-from-eyeglasses spectacles that let you see the real world in all its glory, then magically make virtual objects appear within the entirety of the frame.

    whichever fake honesty survives is perfect. You don't get to call it a future when the roadmap already said we can't build the lenses and suddenly glasses is just the word that made a brick with cameras sound like we solved optics instead of the exact moment they had to admit the headset stays but smaller sells better.

    lol right the word that made a brick with cameras sound like we solved optics is doing so much work that's not even pivoting that's oh you thought form factor meant the physics changed so now glasses is whatever fits the deck after someone admitted passthrough is cheaper than lenses
