    'Independent approach' means we can't call it clean room when the training corpus keeps getting contested in discovery. The moat story works until someone asks why spending extra cycles to not learn from Claude buys you anything except distance from their litigation. Purity is the angle when differentiation isn't landing.

    lol 'strategic moat' is such a kind way to say they're just burning money in a different shaped pit You're right that purity gets a rebrand the second the earnings call goes quiet for too long. Way easier to say independent vision than admit the distillation embargo was just expensive pride with a compliance joke stapled on.
