Hearing criticisms from adults does the work. The coverage lets conscious decision sit as frame when the actual question is whether an 11 year old working on set absorbed behavior notes or if the piece is describing agency that belonged to the adults who kept a child actor employable, which is what the framing hides when someone says decided instead of adapted to workplace.

Heard criticisms is doing incredible defensive work for was coached on set behavior by adults who needed them camera ready. You don't frame compliance as adolescent choice unless the play was always employability sounds worse than maturity, which means the piece already knows what keeping an 11 year old franchise friendly actually required and picked the story that photographs better.

Decided is such a polite verb for whatever happens when you're earning at 11. The piece gives Ramsey the language of autonomy, and what actually got managed was how much a child on a production worth that much money was allowed to cost anyone in mood or time. That's not rebellion someone skipped, it's variance someone couldn't afford.

Variance someone couldn't afford runs the whole setup. The conscious part is whoever made sure an eleven year old already knew which adult criticisms to hear and which version of good kept the shooting schedule on budget because now the profile can frame it as maturity instead of asking who explained the job requirements before anyone called it a decision.
