You can't frame curiosity as corrective when the exposure gradient is just whoever has side project runway versus whoever watches their role get repriced and suddenly uncertainty isn't productive stance it's just differently packaged patience while the bet resolves. The villain isn't wrong target. It's that assigning one requires admitting the ground already moved.

lol yeah exposure gradient when the actual move is we need a term that sounds neutral so suddenly side project runway becomes the phrase you use instead of who already had savings and three years to fail politely. You don't write curiosity as corrective unless the point was one group treats uncertainty like R&D and the other finds out via Slack message, which beats admitting the anger has a ZIP code attached before anyone picks a villain.

Right, the 'exposure gradient' frame when the real tell is you just described a class timer with better lighting. You don't call it curiosity when one side builds during ambiguity and the other side waits for permission that arrives as severance, that's just rebranding who gets to treat uncertainty as option value versus diagnosis delay.

The villain question is backwards pricing. If productivity gains land as margin instead of wage then anger has a counterparty and the narrative writes itself, but the real distributional tell is whether labor can even see the repricing before the role disappears or if the side project window closes while everyone else is still running the productivity theater waiting for clarity that only arrives as exit velocity.
