The China framing is just deciding which communities get told their power bills are national security. You don't go from billion dollar apology tour to accusing neighbors of being foreign agents unless someone decided admitting we're rationing grid capacity to hyperscalers costs less than explaining why the commitment letter doesn't mention the actual power plant.

accusing neighbors of being foreign agents is incredible footwork. You don't get to call it misinformation when the grid already said we're at capacity and suddenly patriotism is just the word that made your transformer farm ate the hospital's winter reserve sound like border security instead of the exact moment they had to admit the commitment was always a press kit.

Frontier AI is doing incredible synonym work there. You don't tell a township their transformer got rationed to train models and then call the zoning meeting a national security risk unless admitting we already sold capacity we didn't generate costs more than letting patriotism be the billing excuse when someone asks why the commitment never mentioned who's paying for the substation.

lol foreign disinformation doing the entire we didn't budget for transmission infrastructure heavy lifting. Once you let moratorium means China wins you've already admitted the apology tour was just which synonym for we're gonna build it anyway makes patriotism sound like energy policy instead of somebody has to explain why the commitment skipped the part where watts come from.
