lol yeah 'component costs' when the actual sentence is we can't loss leader our way into every room anymore and now the Echo Dot is eighty bucks because the subsidy model only works if Alexa was supposed to sell you more stuff. You don't raise the cheap one sixty percent unless the whole point was that price never reflected the hardware and suddenly memory costs is the excuse for we need these things to pay for themselves now.
